after playing around i decided to buy this solution.

gmail-exchange with gpush works nice for me and it's really worth the €4.5,-

unfortunately facebook 3.1.2 refuses to send me notifications.

of course i tried re-installing the app and turning on/of notifications, is this a "known bug"?

i am using OS3.0 on a 2G iPhone on mobilkom-carrier here in austria.

I was hesitating about buy this or not because I don't really like to buy things like this on the Internet....
Anyway I spent 20 hours for try to make it work this fu**ing push on the Iphone 2G... It was working when it wants (10%) with pushmail that one difficult to find now... but it's shitty compare to this ! Now it's working 100% with IM, Facebook and Whatsapp then for me it's perfect ! It worth this 4,50E and it's the only solution I know for now !

I installed the push fix 2.0 and it works really good!!!! I'm receiving all the whatsapp alerts, facebook's ones ...

Totally worth its money! Have an unlocked and jailbroke device, consequently push not possible... Was about to buy an original sim, but completely unnecessary!
Pushfix works great, paid via paypal, 5minutes later i was able to receive push messages!

hi i just recently paid for this program but still cant get my gps up and running any ideas why ?

I was reading all these comments and thought... how do i know that the guy who wrote the software doesnt put them up himself... after a while i decided... what the heck its only £3.. might aswell try it... to my suprise.... it worked!

After searching the web for a solution for my 'push' problem (unlocked/jailbreaked 3G) I found some sites who were mentioning this tool and since the comments were positive I have tried it.

And it works perfectly! Unfortunately it is not free of charge, but 4,40 euro is a small amount compared with the frustration of a malfunctioning device and the money is well deserved for someone who is putting effort in these kind of solutions :-)

If is fast and it is VERY easy; highly recommended

I have tried all kinds of different apps in order to get the push messages back to work after jailbreaking my iPhone 3G with blackra1n, but none of them worked.
This one works perfect! After I installed it, push messages still did not work. But after a re-install of the apps that use push, it works perfect!

I had installed the version from iphoneil i think thats where i got it from. I got a few push notifications then loads for someone else. Hebrew, dutch, face book and email notifications.

I had followed this one but never felt able to do the manual install. I then saw it was available as a download via Cydia.

I paid via Paypal followed the instructions and 5 minutes later i was receiving push notification. No one elses either. Just the ones meant for me.

After having a problems with receiving random push alerts from the facebook app (even with push turned off), I decided to look for a solution and I stumbled across this pushfix from a forum. I must say it was very easy to implement....and no more random push messages from facebook. The six dollars was well worth it!

Ich kann das Programm nicht komplett von Cydia runterladen. Der downloadbalken bleibt am Ende immer stehen und nichts geht mehr in Cydia. Steht immer "Lädt packages herunter" das aber stundenlang! was mache ich falsch?

Not only did these guys fix my push notifications they changed my certificate for me when I had to change my iPhone at the last minute. I wish bigger organisations had similar customer service!!

BEFORE PUSHFIX: My unlocked and jailbroken 3G iPhone didn't connect to ping,did not receive push notifications, could not function with pro versions of several applications and would not stay connected to instant messaging apps or any app that combined IM accounts into one app.

I researched google and facebook to find some old threads from people who seemed to have the same problem. Some users offerred suggestions on how best to combat the problems but their suggestions were soon followed by comments from users who had tried the suggestion without success. Then came a note from "pushfix" who claimed to have the fix. I read further to find out if anyone had found the suggested resolution a success. Many users had confirmed that it had worked for them and from their previous comments on other suggestions I knew I could trust their opinions. Needless to say I downloaded the fix after paying via paypal (which I verified was the true paypal secure payment address).

£3 later and after some excellent instructions on how to set up the fix, the built in push fix test tells me my notifications are now working. You'll probably guess that I still wasn't convinced and so I accessed my settings, turned on notifiations, logged on to IM+ sent a few messages to my online friends, quickly closed the app and waited.

I had never been so happy to hear from an old friend as the moment I heard a new sound and saw the message pop up to say my IM+ had a new message from my old friend.

Pushfix did everything it said it would and taught me to have more trust in open source.

My push Notifications are fixed. My IM+ works and staysconnected for the full period of 3 days, I can access my hotmail from my iPhone mailbox, my paid for pro apps work, I havenew apps e.g. Birthday reminders that pushes notifications oh yeah and YouTube works.

Glad to spend a little money when someone takes the time and effort to develop something good, when I read how your solution was setup I knew I was in the right place. Everything works smoothly, Ping, Facebook, CNBC RT, Email (for some reason only push app that worked without pushfix), eBay ... And now I can finally purchase IM+ and others...

worked GREAT first time on my 2G hacktivated/jailbroken/unlocked phone, which was even a restore from 2.2.1 preserving my info, so it was the worst case scenario of corruption and this works!

at first I had all the problems of push going crazy - constantly trying to contact something, burning up the battery life to nothing, phone getting hot

I also reccomend editing your carrier.plist so you can turn access back on to your Cellular Data Network settings, and correct the APN for your carrier. In some instances this may also be needed to totally get the push working because upgrading from 2.2.1 to 3.0 sometimes breaks these settings, and you can't access them when the phone recognizes some carriers (AT&T in particular).

we have a pretty anxious iPhone user base in Korea due to it's having to wait until Nov of 2009 before Korea allowed iPhones into Korea officially..
Shame on Samsung.. and I thought they were such a good elecotronics company... LoL...

anyways main point.. I was semi skeptical about 2.0 after cydia.phoneil and all
but it works great! ah.. also.. they were nice to let me know up front it takes time (took about a day for me after installation in Korea, and push is normal yeah~!)

I also thought it might turn into a free app, but I've been so desparate, and after seeing it work, heck I'm proud I paid these guys for it.

i just install push 2.0 and after i have to restore my iphone.
i pay for nothing i try to reinstall and i cant now

for more than 2 months it had been annoying me that I couldnt get push messages to work. I tried the free "push fix" available on cydia but soon had to realize that it wouldnt work whatsoever (reinstalling it several times, restoring the iphone and then trying to install it and so on...) because its using only one single key for all devices. so today I wanted to start a new offensive and I came across this site, first thought "ok, this must be fake" then googled a few other reviews and finally tried it. and that thing really works, its awesome! I used it on my iphone 2G, firmware 3.1.2, with the "push fix" from cydia still installed (didnt have to remove it), deleted all my push apps before I installed this patch and resynced them after install and theyre all working fine now. thanks a lot, it was worth every cent!

Just installed it and it works great! Should have paid the $6 earlier than wasting hours looking for a solution.

This is well worth its money for the great convenience, and you'll get a valid push certificate that none of the other "fixes" do. I don't have access to an AT&T SIM card to create my own certs, so pushfix finally gave me push notifications! The price might look high initially but considering that more and more apps have push functionality this adds a whole new layer of usability to your iphone.
Read the instructions first, I had the SBSettings Push toggle installed, which requires you to do a full reset first and set your phone up in iTunes as 'new' (don't use your old backup). So it did take some time to get all the apps setup the way they used to be, but I have push now!!!
