UPDATE: Ping did have maintenance, so there was an "outage". I cannot prove it was Ping, so I will let Gary off the hook. You should also check out WhatsApp messenger here : www.whatsapp.com or Yak (see app store)
The next time push stops working, do nothing and wait up to 24 hours. 99% of the time your push will come back because it is either a problem with developer, your cell or internet provider, or Apple. I will do a blog post if there is an outage of Apple's push servers (very rare) or anything else major happens.
Previous update: Hmm, Ping doesn't work for me but Ping! Lite does? (This was evidently because Gary was updating the Ping server only to support future enhancements) iPush Test works on both phones which still points to an app problem.

There was nothing for me to fix for the Israel WiFi problem. There was a network outage that caused the situation and I wanted to be sure the outage was over before I started selling again. Selling a product during an outage is not what I want to be doing.
first of , thanks for your fix, it fixxed my ping in the past and I even met my new girlfriend through ping lol....
thanks for sharing that! as ping or push ( really doesnt matter at that point ) went down yesterday, I tried to restore my network to default settings but uppon reboot it would never start again:(.
so I hactivated jailbreaked etc my phone again from scratch, everything worked flawlessly again yesterday, but today seems to have new problems giving network errors upon sending and receiving.
any update on whats going on would be greatly apprichiated, thank you ±'

The best thing you can do is purchase iPush Test for $0.99 from the app store if you don't already have it. When you start it, do a timed test and if it comes back with a response you know push is working on your phone. If it doesn't, then you need to do the troubleshooting steps in the instructions and maybe see my forum or open a ticket.
If push is working on your phone and Ping is not, the best thing to do is to check Ping's facebook page : http://www.facebook.com/pages/Ping/179824541264?ref=ts
Click on Just Fans and you will see what others are saying. It is not a pretty picture right now:
David Neil Well....my app completely stopped and was instructed to delete it and reinstall by APPLE. Now its asking me to enter a new ID. I am far from impressed :-( I have emailed you guys too!
