Update 12/27 The push service was back to normal a few hours after I posted this.
The push notification service is normally extremely reliable, but I thought I would post a note today because it does appear to be slow right now. I am not missing pushes, but the occasional timed test in iPush Test comes back in 45-90 seconds which is very rare. I actually have not seen it this slow in my 3 months of using push notifications. Normal push response time is less than 2 seconds.
Please remember that I have no control over this. If you are getting notifications, my package did it's job. I will keep users updated because at this time, there is no push notification service status page. Maybe they are doing some maintenance and some of the server farm is down.

Yes, I will announce my blog entries on twitter next time, good idea. I'm still getting used to using twitter to broadcast news events.
I'm thinking of using a dedicated device like an iPod touch 1st gen to measure push response times 24/7 and update a page on my site that would track of past and present times. I'll put this on the back burner to implement after I get some higher priority things done.
my iphone is 3g 3.1.2/05.07.11 and i just jailbreak & unlocked it wit blackra1n. my wi-fi was working fine after i download cydia it stopped working. i've tried the (reset network settings) and also OFF push-mailI want to know if i Buy this pushfix is my wi-fi going to work again?

I have never heard of Cydia damaging WiFi and I don't believe it's possible. There is a known wifi bug that affects iPhones running 3.X and Apple is generally exchanging them without many questions. If resetting the network settings doesn't fix it, you have to restore and run blackra1n again.
Pushfix 2.0 does not fix WiFi problems. My free YouTube packages can fix GPS loss and YouTube errors. There is no known fix for loss of WiFi besides restoring. If that doesn't work, it is a hardware issue.
